Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and WeeklyDots ("WeeklyDots," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the WeeklyDots Life iOS app (the "App") and weeklydots.app (the "Website"). By downloading, purchasing, or using the App or the Website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

The App does not require a WeeklyDots account. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you are not old enough to agree on your own, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms for you. You are responsible for the Apple Account and device used to obtain the App and make purchases.

2. License and permitted use

Subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, WeeklyDots grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules. The App is licensed, not sold.

You may not:

• copy, distribute, rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App except where law expressly permits;
• reverse engineer, decompile, attempt to extract source code, or bypass technical protections except where applicable law prohibits that restriction;
• interfere with the App, Website, or related systems, or use them unlawfully; or
• misrepresent your affiliation with WeeklyDots or infringe another person's rights.

3. App content and your data

You retain rights in content you enter or select in the App. You grant WeeklyDots only the rights needed to process that content on your device to provide the features you request. The App generally keeps personal app content locally, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you add and for maintaining device backups appropriate to your needs. Deleting the App or device data may permanently remove locally stored content. WeeklyDots is not a backup or cloud-storage service.

4. Photos, wallpapers, and life information

Photo selection is optional and controlled through Apple's system interface. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to use any image you select. Wallpaper automation may depend on iOS, Shortcuts, device settings, and permissions outside WeeklyDots' control.

WeeklyDots Life provides a personal visualization based on dates and information you enter. The App does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice and should not be relied on for emergencies or important decisions.

5. Purchases, subscriptions, and Pro access

Paid features are offered as auto-renewable subscriptions or, where available, a lifetime non-consumable purchase. The exact products, price, currency, billing period, free trial or offer terms, and included features shown in the App Store purchase sheet at the time you confirm a purchase control.

• Billing: Apple processes payment using your Apple Account. WeeklyDots does not receive your full payment-card details.
• Automatic renewal: monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Apple may charge your Apple Account for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends.
• Manage or cancel: manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Trials and offers: any unused portion of a free trial may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable. Eligibility and duration are shown by Apple.
• Lifetime purchases: "lifetime" means access to the App's applicable Pro features for as long as WeeklyDots offers and supports the App; it does not mean your lifetime or guarantee that every service will always remain available.
• Restoration and refunds: eligible purchases can be restored using the App's restore feature. Refunds, billing disputes, and payment methods are administered by Apple under App Store policies and applicable law.

6. Changes and availability

We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features to improve the App, address security or legal requirements, or respond to platform changes. We do not guarantee that the App, a feature, integration, or Website will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or future operating-system version. Any change to paid access remains subject to applicable law and App Store requirements.

7. Third-party services

The App and Website rely on or may link to services provided by others, including Apple, ConfigCat, GitHub, Formspree, and websites you choose to open. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. WeeklyDots is not responsible for third-party content or services except to the extent required by law. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for the App beyond obligations that cannot be excluded.

8. Intellectual property

The App, Website, visual design, code, trademarks, and other WeeklyDots materials are owned by WeeklyDots or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of WeeklyDots intellectual property or permission to use WeeklyDots names or branding except as needed for ordinary personal use of the App.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App and Website are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that locally stored data will never be lost. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WeeklyDots and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the App or Website. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid WeeklyDots for the App in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or the minimum amount required by law. Mandatory consumer rights and liability that cannot lawfully be limited are not affected.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. These Terms and your license terminate automatically if you materially breach them. On termination, you must stop using the App. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—will survive. Termination does not itself cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it through Apple Account settings.

12. Applicable law and consumer rights

These Terms are governed by applicable law, including the governing-law provisions of the Apple Standard EULA for your App license. If mandatory consumer-protection law in your country provides rights or a forum that cannot be waived, those rights and rules apply. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights against Apple or WeeklyDots where such limits are prohibited.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as our products or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised Terms here and update the effective date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice where required. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent allowed by law.
